The full moon was celebrated at the White Spring building in Glastonbury on the evening of Thursday 3 September 2009. It was another time of great change for the shrine. For building of the first new internal water structures was about to begin, due for completion by the following new moon. I lit plenty of candles and placed them around the building. It was an unusual experience because there was no sound of water. Since the building was reshaped visitors have been greeted with an almost overwhelming crash of water entering the site. On this night it was being siphoned away ready for the building work to begin. Eventually a nice-sized crowd gathered for the evening. Max welcomed everyone and asked them to form a circle near the back of the building. He asked the group to tone a series of ohms to raise the energy level. Merlin then led the group in chant about stones. Everyone was then asked to go off and sit somewhere in the building to think of an issue that could be dealt with in the subsequent meditation. Following this the whole group sat in the back right corner and Max guided everyone through a wonderful meditation that allowed a problem to be handed over to Lugh for resolution. Forming back up in circle, Merlin led the group in a chant about Water. And then I was asked to perform. For the first time I did one of my 80-line memory performances in the White Spring. I selected the Superstition poem, as we headed towards the darker days. With that Max asked the group to tone another series of ohms or other sounds as they saw fit. He then closed the circle on what had been a surprisingly fitting event for another time of great change at the White Spring.
