With 2.5 weeks off work I decided to photograph each sunrise and sunset between the evenings of 16 April and 3 May 2011. This ensured I kept my commitment to do a lot more walking. By this time the daily increase in sun activity was slowing, although the days were still getting longer. Showing how no two events are the same, each photo has its own characteristics. The variables including fog, low cloud, aircraft trails and the local environment. The caption for each photo shows the extra light experienced for me that day, as well as the total gained since Winter Solstice. These photos were published twice daily for my Facebook audience. They have now been placed here as a single collection for the record.
